I. International Hunting Cynology Conference

01.04 – 30.03.2012 – Gödöllő

(organised by A VADÁSZKUTYA magazine and Institute for Wildlife Conservation of St.  Stephen University of Gödöllő)

The aims of the Conference are to popularize the roles of hunting dogs in wildlife management and other civilian areas and radiate the expectations of 21 century humankind’s accountable dog keeping. The Conference will be held on 30.03 – 01.04.2012, on Szent István University of Gödöllő.


The other aims of the event are to show the rules of hunting dogs’ work and ethics, and popularize hunting dogs arts. The event’s tasks are also to show the connection between hunting dogs and hunting itself in European countries, and to show the legal environments of them and the different work tests and breeding system rules.
The international presenters inform the audience about hunting dogs features, traditions, curiosities of their countries.
An outstanding event – in the organization of A VADÁSZKUTYA (Hungarian Hunting Dog Magazine) – on the Conference is to sign foundation of The International Hunting Dog Association, which would like to collect all organizations, who accept the tasks, goals and intentions of the Association. These are to stand for the usage of different hunting dog breeds in wildlife management, to keep traditions of hunting dogs work and to promote the hunting dogs efforts for human societies and the connection between hunting dogs and wise and sustainable usage of wildlife.
On the last day of the Conference, on 01.04, different hunting dog tests will be held for the cup of A VADÁSZKUTYA magazine, at neighbourhood of Gödöllő. These tests are supported by Hungarian Kennel Club and the winners of the tests can be awarded with FCI prizes (CACIT) .
The main patron of the Conference is Mr. Zsolt Semjén deputy prime minister of Hungary and President of National Protect The Future Of Hunting In Hungary. The other patrons are Mr. András Korózs President of Hungarian Kennel Club and Mr. Otto Feiszt President of Hungarian National Chamber of Hunting.

The two days registration fee includes the programme booklet, a CD with all the materials of the conference. The registration fee does not include the cost of accommodation.
